Stirling Youth Hostel - Stirling

The 4-star VisitScotland accredited Stirling Youth Hostel isin the grounds of Erskine Church, just a short walk from historic Stirling Castle, high above the town centre, with views over the surrounding area.

The hostel offers a range of comfortable en-suite rooms and spacious shared accommodation, many with views over the surrounding countryside.

Guests can opt a wee breakfast served in the large dining room or take advantage of the well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Dinner and packed lunches are also available by prior arrangement for groups of 10 or more.

Other facilities include free WiFi, private lockers, USB plug sockets, two large lounge areas and a meeting room for private use. Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception.

Limited on-site car parking is available.

The Castle and Old Town Jail are just a short walk away, while The Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Centre can be reached by car or public transport. Blair Drummond Safari Park (open March to October) is easily accessible by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy reach with good public transport links to both cities.

The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

Full payment forbookings will be charged at the time of booking.major credit and debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.

All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund).

Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.

Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56 - 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.

Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.

From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation. Parties with young children (under 12 years) will only be accommodated in private rooms,available

Hostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
