Glasgow Youth Hostel offers 4-star VisitScotland accredited accommodation in a Victorian townhouse overlooking Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow’s lively West End, close to award-winning Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, numerous cafes, restaurants and bars.

The hostel offer guests a great range of comfortable en-suite rooms and spacious shared accommodation with private lockers. There’s also a self-contained apartment sleeping up to 6 people.

WiFi is free forguests and other facilities include a large lounge with views over the park, television room, games room, laundry, secure bike store and luggage storage.

Reception is open 24 hours a day. There are no car parking spaces at the hostel, but limited on-street Pay & Display spaces can be found in the surrounding area. Glasgow Youth Hostel is within easy reach of many of Glasgow’s main attractions, including the SSE Hydro and SEC.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

Full payment forbookings will be charged at the time of booking.major credit & debit cards are accepted, excluding American Express.

All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund.)

Individual reservations for up to 9 guests can be cancelled free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival, the total price will be charged.

When booking for more than 9 guests, different policies and additional supplements may apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more), 20% of the total cost. 8 to 4 weeks (56-29 days): 55% of total cost. 4 to 0 weeks (28 - 0 days) 100% of total cost.

Should guests be entitled to a refund or partial refund, please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of the cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.

Children aged 12 to 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation.

Please note that guests under 12 years old are not allowed in shared dormitories and must book a private room, subject to availability.

Guests travelling with children must inform the property before arrival.

Please note that extra beds or cots are not available at the property.
