The Mowbray - Eastbourne

In the heart of Eastbournes Theatreland, The Mowbray occupies a prime position on the corner of an elegant Edwardian terrace, connecting the seafront with the theatres and conference centres. This family-run guesthouse overlooks Devonshire Park and the International Tennis Courts, just a stones throw from the beach and the promenade, and only a short distance from the town centre.

All of the en suite rooms are front facing, with some enjoying views of the rolling South Downs and the Tennis Centre. Each room has teacoffee making facilities and a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player.

As The Mowbray is In our delightful late Victorian or early Edwardian historic building there are some limitations for those with severely reduced mobility. The doors do not allow for wheelchairs use, the front door is up a few steps and the breakfast room is accessed by stairs, but for those with more mobility there are 2 good handrails at the entrance and the breakfast stairs, a lift goes tobedrooms from the entrance floor and every ensuite, has a walk-in shower. We can serve a limited breakfast in the guest lounge if the breakfast stairs prove impossible.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
